Jazz@Newham - The "March is the new February" gig
Instead of our regular last-Sunday-of the month event, we are mixing it up a wee bit and 'the February jazz gig' is Mar 6. Fabbo jazz band of Jules, Nigel Maclean, Michael Harding and James Clarkwill swing and sizzle from 3 til 5 with doors opening at 2:30.

About the event
Juliarna and her colleagues - Nigel Maclean, Michael Harding and James Clark- will play a great mix of whatever we (we being band and audience as requests always arise and get incorporated into setlists) feel like on the day... cause that's the beauty of jazz. There will definitely be standards, French jazz tunes, some Latin jazz and a blues or two in amongst well-loved favouritse and some lesser known gems.
It is seated affair with 2 sets, at the Newham Mechanics Institute, starting at 3pm. Doors open at 2:30pm and there is a bar of local beer and wine and snacks. Carmel's cheese platters are deeeeelicious.
Tickets ($32) are limited, to keep us spaced apart for now, and all attendees will need to check in and show that they are vaccinated. I can't wait to see some beloved familiar smiling aces and happy, tappytoes.
